This is a heavy duty combination for sticky, stringy, copious and persistent mucous in the sinuses or on the chest following a cold. 

Mucous color may vary from white to yellow to green, and it may tend towards post nasal drip, rather than affecting the sinuses (although it can do both), and/or may be accompanied by a brassy, hacking cough from the PND.
