Distance Consultations

During my time in practice in Western Australia I offered a phone consultation service to patients living in remote locations. 

This has worked very well over the years, and since my recent relocation to Tasmania a large number of my Perth patients (both local and remote) have continued to consult with me over the phone.

In addition to this I have been getting calls from an increasing number of people around Australia who don't have a homeopath near by and have chosen to take up the option of distance consulting.

This works in the same way as a consult in the clinic.  Initial contact is often by email.  We book a time in the diary and I then call the patient (or parent!) using VoiP (Voice over the internet protocol), which is basically a way of making distance calls at a low call rate.  I also have skype plus webcam and this is a good option if available at the other end.

Prior to the consultation I ask the patient (or parent) to email me a 'story' as to what has been happening, plus photos so I can make a connection with the patient.

Payment is arranged by credit card or direct deposit and the remedies are sent in the mail or, if common remedies, can be picked up locally if applicable.

Distance consultations also work for acute illness and treatment of pets.
