Homeopathy

Our fast paced lives seem to result in more and more health issues and "stress" would be the most common cause given by patients for the onset of a range of symptoms.

Even small children seem to be suffering the effects of too much stress in the family.

Homeopathy is a complete system of natural medicine which focuses strongly on how a person experiences life and what issues or genetic inheritance may have produced the current state of 'dis-ease', imbalance or illness.

Unlike the naturopathic approach which tends to rely on supplementation and dietary changes, homeopathy's uniquely prepared medicines act as a dynamic stimulus to the individual's immune system or energy body, producing improvement in mental and emotional states as well as physical symptoms.

This process can be life-changing particularly for people who suffer conditions which affect their relationship with their environment, like phobias, asthma/allergies or depression.

Treatment often has the effect of bringing insight, clarity and completion to situations or experiences with which people may have struggled for years, or even generations.

A consultation involves building up a detailed picture of the individual in order to produce a match with one of around 3000 homeopathic medicines.

Homeopathy treats the person not the symptoms, so each prescription will be different regardless of the conventional diagnosis. While it is possible to treat the symptoms only, we get the best results when we look at the whole person.

Melanie Creedy has used homeopathy since the mid 1980's, undertaking her training in the UK.

She is a member of the Australian Homeopathic Association (AHA), past President of the WA branch and currently Vice President of AHA's National Council. She is listed on the Australian Register of Homeopaths.
