Guided Journey: The Pathway to Your Soul

Book Journey

One of my passions has been creating guided journeys and meditations that can unlock the secrets buried deep within.

Sometimes we are not aware or open as to why we do not heal, and this can be either a physical or a spiritual blockage. Both things are truly the same, just looked at from different perspectives.

There are many ways to work with the various situations we have chosen, and so I’d like to offer you one method that can take you back to the root cause of an issue and plant the seed to change your life.

This method will work on any level or aspect and is a powerful energetic tool that you only need to start once, but as you will see/hear, revisiting it will make your resolve grow.

I have offered it here in either a transcript that you can read (or have someone read for you) or an audio file that you can download and play.

The process I will lead you through is the same if you are working on a past issue (this life or previous) or to create a future life (this life or future).

Be sure to dedicate the space and time you deserve and work with this powerful tool just before bed. If you fall asleep the process will still work, so don’t worry if you do, but being awake and attentive is best.

NB: Do not play this in the car or while you are filling in time on your journey to work.

For enhanced results, consider using one of our EnviroSprays which we created some time back to help with clearing energy, creating sacred space and improving connection and focus. Peace be Still and Space Clearing are available through our Elements of Health store and the choice is yours as to which you resonate with for creating your sacred space for working with this process.

Planting the Seed

Start by finding a space where you can be comfortable without draughts or distractions.

Turn off the telephone and mobile and make sure that any electrical noises are disconnected.

You can either lay down on the floor or a sofa or sit in a comfortable chair, but do not lay down in your bed as the association with a bed is to sleep.

So let us begin…

Find your most comfortable position and move your body until you are happy with being here for a few minutes.

Take three deep relaxing breaths – in through the nose and out through the mouth, slowly and mindfully.

Gently close your eyes and allow the outside world to disappear.

All around you the distractions begin to fade, and you sink into your space of safety and comfort.

Take three more deepening breaths.

Your body begins to feel lighter and less attached to any present concerns.

Take your awareness to the darkness that resides behind your eyelids. This a velvety space that relaxes you and encourages you to be within.

And just for a moment imagine that within that warm space is the outline of a doorway that is in the furthest corner of your mind.

It is a doorway that you recognize and have opened before.

As you know this door well, you are happy to grasp the handle and gently open it.

The door opens, and through the opening, you are greeted by a bright white light.

Slowly your eyes become accustomed to the brilliance, and the outside world starts to become clear.

Everything you can see is familiar and is part of the natural world. There are only trees, fields and sky.

As you become aware of your feet and the ground beneath them, you remember that beyond the door is a path you have trodden before. It is narrow and mostly well kept, but in places, it has been left to gather weeds.

Your memory reminds you that walking this path will only bring you joy, and so without hesitation, you start on your journey.

The path winds its way through the fields that stretch out ahead of you, leading you further and further away from your starting place. On your way, you stop to tend the path and remove the weeds that have taken hold.

The path enters into a valley that is open, but full of the most fragrant flowers you have ever enjoyed.

Within the valley, you notice that the path leads to a large and overgrown wall. In this wall is a door that is equally overgrown. The hinges are rusted and the handle and lock corroded with age.

You feel drawn to try the handle and realize that the door is firmly locked. You look around for a key without success.

As you are just about to give up and leave, you become aware of a small bag that is hanging around your neck on a string suspended over your heart.

Within this bag, you find a key. It too is rusted, but as you insert it into the lock and turn it the door slowly opens and invites you in.

Within the walls is a garden that is overgrown and unkempt. The paths are hidden, and the flower beds are tangled with weeds.

As you walk along a pathway, it is clear that the garden has not been tended for some time.

Gradually you find your way to the center of the garden.

What you find is a circular bed that is as overgrown as the rest, but the outline of the ornate borders are still visible.

You decide to sit and consider what to do next.

In this tranquil but overgrown space, your memory comes flooding back that this is your garden and that is has been a long time since you came here last.

You also remember that this is the garden of your Soul and that it is the place where past and future dreams can grow into realities.

It has become overgrown because you have forgotten this place and have not visited to tend the garden.

With this thought, you set about removing the weeds and bring your space back to its former beauty.

The task is easier than you imagined and is completed in the blink of an eye.

As you stand back and admire your perseverance, you notice that the central bed is empty and unloved.

But sitting on the wall beside the bed is a packet of seeds that says “I will grow into whatever you want.”

As you open the packet out drops a single seed into your hand. You make a small hole in the bed, and into it you plant the seed.

You then turn over the seed packet and on the back are the directions. They read.

“This seed will grow into anything that you can imagine, but it must be tended with care. So water me regularly and feed my needs. But do not forget me as without your care and love I will die!”

With this warning you make a resolve to come back as often as you can and to place the growth of this seed as your highest priority.

With this thought, you then begin the journey back. Leaving the garden, you take one last look and fix within your mind the beauty that you have created.

You close and lock the door behind you and place the key back in the bag suspended over your heart.

With a joyful heart, you make your way back along the pathway through the fields until you reach the doorway.

Before you open the door and walk through, it is time to understand what you have just encountered and why it is important to remember this journey.

The images and symbology of the pathway and garden are direct gateways to your Soul’s journey. It is a simple yet powerful opening to change your life.

The seed you have sown will directly affect your view of your life, be it spiritual or secular, but be assured that every change you make in your garden affects the outside world. When you walk through your doorway back into your life, all mundane things will change, and the process of your Soul’s journey or your spiritual path, whichever name you choose, will begin to grow, just like the seed you have planted.

Now you have the choice to either enter back through the doorway and do nothing, and if this is the path you choose just say to your self three times “I am happy in this lifetime and I do not wish to change”.

But if the path that spreads out in front of you is your Soul’s journey and you wish to travel further than you could imagine, then open the door, walk through and embrace the change.

When you are back in the space of your warm and inviting room, start to feel the ground beneath you and the chair you rest in.

Start to become aware of the temperature in this space and the feel of the clothes on your skin.

Take three grounding breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.

When you feel fully grounded gradually open your eyes and embrace the new you!

As I mentioned before, do not attempt to drive or take part in manual work after participating in this journey for at least two hours, and if possible just retire to bed and let the process take hold within your sleep.

Dean Creedy has been a spiritual seeker for over 40 years and has had a focus on the path of the yogic traditions for nearly 25. He was drawn to the mystical and metaphysical side of the Indian and Eastern traditions, gaining deeper understanding through the grace of teachers and masters upon the path. In 2003 he became part of these traditions by initiation and adopting and embracing his spiritual name.
Dean first became initiated into Usui Reiki in 1994 and trained to become a Reiki Master in 1999.
He trained to become a yoga teacher in India in 2000 and then in Perth, Western Australia and from the turn of the new millenium offered regular classes, workshops and retreats, covering all aspects of yogic & spiritual life.
In 2007 Dean and Melanie were drawn to a tree change in Southern Tasmania, creating an environment where they could achieve a deeper understanding of their respected fields and paths.
Dean’s approach to the spiritual path and all the pitfalls and challenges is a practical and grounded one, sidestepping the often airy nature of current trends, and always looking for balance in all things.
He works intuitively through the grace of the Masters of many traditions and a session with him may cover many aspects of this, and perhaps other lives, awakening to and deepening your Spiritual path or the causes of blockages in this life.
He does not channel loved ones or noted people who have passed on from this life or has any idea or interest of the next lottery numbers!
