How to Use

Schussler, who discovered the tissue salts, recommended using 3 or 4 times a day for 120 days!
We suggest 2 or 3 times a day for one month or more to support optimum health.

  1. Calc Fluor assists with maintaining elasticity of tissues and is indicated for varicose veins, haemorrhoids, constipation and sluggish circulation. It is of value in conditions affecting the bones, for poor enamel of the teeth and the elastic fibres of the skin, muscular tissue and blood vessels. It may assist with minor prolapse.
  2. Calc Phos is often known as the “nutrition tonic” and promotes healthy cellular activity and restores tone to weakened organs and tissues, assisting in digestion and assimilation. It is a constituent of bone, teeth, connective tissue, blood corpuscles and digestive juices and gives solidity to bones and building of teeth.
  3. Calc Sulph
is known as the “blood purifier” and is found in the liver where it helps in the removal of waste products from the blood stream and has a purifying and cleansing effect on the system. It is helpful in the treatment of a mucous, acne, boils, and eruptions in general.
  4. Ferrum Phos is the oxygen carrier of the system and assists with inflammation, processes vital for our system. It gives strength to the walls of the blood vessels, especially the arteries and is indicated where there is a lack of red blood cells, as in anaemia. It does not supplement iron, but helps the system use iron from the diet and balance the intake efficiently.
  5. Kali Mur is useful when the system is sluggish and there are white discharges, such as mucous. Like Calc Sulph it is concerned with cleansing and purifying the system and is particularly useful combined with Ferrum Phos for children’s ailments such as ear aches, colds and sore throats. Along with Nat Mur it is concerned with production of hydrochloric acid and is therefore important in the digestive processes.
  6. Kali Phos is a nerve nutrient and has an affinity for the tissues and fluids of the body, in particular the brain and nerve cells. It is useful for nervous conditions such as fatigue, depression, indigestion and insomnia. It may also be useful as a support for conditions such as shingles. It can be helpful for nervous asthma in combination with Mag Phos.
  7. Kali Sulph has an affinity for the cells which form the lining of the skin and the internal mucous membranes. Together with Ferrum Phos, Kali Sulph carries oxygen to the cells and tissues. A deficiency can cause chilliness, flushes of heat and limb pains which move from place to place. A deficiency may result in a yellow slimy tongue, and yellow/greenish discharges generally. It may be useful in various skin, including psoriasis and fungal conditions, and mucous problems.
  8. Mag Phos is a nerve relaxant hence it’s usefulness in the treatment of cramps and spasms. It is indicated for neuralgic pain, sciatica and headaches with shooting, darting, stabbing pains. It is useful for period pain and will work more quickly when taken in hot water.
  9. Nat Mur is the water balancing tissue salt which helps to maintain proper moisture in the system and can be useful for both dryness and water retention. It can be helpful for headaches with constipation, colds with profuse water mucous and sneezing, and great thirst. It has a major usefulness for cold sores and is useful for hayfever. It often has a craving for salt and salty foods. Along with Kali Mur it has an affinity for the production of hydrochloric acid and digestion generally.
  10. Nat Phos is known as the “acid neutraliser” and is therefore considered useful for acidic states which result in digestive upsets, inflammatory conditions and poor assimilation. One of its functions is that of promoting the absorption of water as a result of the decomposition of lactic acid. Combined with Nat Mur and Nat Sulph, these three Natrum tissue salts control the behaviour of the bodily fluids. Nat Phos is useful for emulsifying fatty acids and a deficiency allows uric acid to form around joints and in tissues, resulting in stiffness, pain and swelling.
  11. Nat Sulph is referred to as the “water eliminator”, helping to regulate excess water and control the healthy functioning of the liver. It help remove all forms of toxicity from the system and is one of the principal tissue salts for flu.
  12. Silica is present in blood, skin, hair and nails and is a constitutent of connective tissue, bones, nerve sheaths and mucous membranes. It is indicated where there is history of deficient assimilation and is useful where the is pus formation such as abscess, styes and boils. Brittle nails and weak, falling hair and urates lodging around joints and muscles also call for this tissue salt.
  13. Zinc Mur Zinc is present in all organs and also a component of enzymes. Zinc Mur tissue salt supports insulin production and can be helpful for nervous exhaustion, grooved nails with white spots, falling hair and dull hair, restless legs and crampy pain before the period.
  14. Mang Sulph Supports the uptake of manganese which the body can not provide energy. Symptoms which may require Mang Sulph include neurasthenia, chronic fatigue, circulatory problems and allergies.
