Description
Our Worming Support combination contains the most commonly indicated remedies which are traditionally used in the management of worms and other parasites. This is an increasingly common problem these days, largely due to life style and gut health.
An unhealthy gut in pregnancy, intervention during labour, early medication, family inheritance, overseas travel and a generally weak immune system can all combine to produce gut dysfunction.
A weak gut is a happy environment for various parasites and some people are just more prone than others.
Our Worming Support combination has been around for over a decade and includes those homeopathics for the common symptoms of worm infestation such as abdominal pain and bloating, itchy bottom, irritability, dark circles under the eyes, hunger or just as a general worming cleanse.
Even though feedback is good with this product, we’ve recently tweaked it to include two tissue salts (Kali Mur and Nat Phos) which support reduction of acidity in the gut.
The Worming Support combination may also be helpful in the management of parasites/protozoa such as Dientamoeba Fragilis, Giardia Lamblia and Blastocystis Hominis. However, in these cases I do recommend individualised treatment as these guys can be difficult to resolve. There are more specific remedies for these particular infestations which are available as part of a consultation.
If symptoms persist or are recurrent in an individual see your homeopath as constitutional treatment may be required for persistent infestation to strengthen the immune system generally. You do often need to do more than just address the invaders!
You can also use this product alongside herbal worming products such as PPC Triplex.
If you’d like a little more information, see my blog on parasites.
