Description
Phosphorus has traditionally been used all sorts of coughs (for which it has a particular affinity), hoarseness, vomiting, heartburn, faintness and nosebleeds.
People who do well on Phosphorus tend to be affectionate, sympathetic, anxious, excitable, fearful (being alone, dark, death, storms) and lack boundaries. They usually desire company, especially when they are ill. When they are sick they go from happy, social butterflies to irritable and sluggish, with easy exhaustion.
They may be very thirsty for cold drinks, which may be vomited up immediately.
Better after sleep, cold drinks, massage, company.
Worse cold, weather change, thunderstorms, being alone.
Always seek medical assistance in an emergency and for a fever in a child under 6 months old.
